Our Food Safety & Standards

Go Raw Pet Food, LLC is a family-run raw dog food kitchen in Huffman, Texas. Since 2018 we've made every recipe by hand in small batches, and our family has raw-fed our Rhodesian Ridgebacks for 10 years. Here's exactly how we make your dog's food, and what we will and won't put in the bowl.

How we make it

• Every recipe is hand-made in 30 lb batches in our Huffman kitchen, and we break down our proteins in-house.
• Every ingredient and supplement is measured and weighed for each batch, so the nutrition stays consistent.
• Batches are bagged and frozen with no preservatives, no chemicals and no HPP (high pressure processing).

What goes in, and what never does

• Proteins: USDA-inspected and 100% USA-sourced. Our rabbit and beef green tripe come from local farms.
• Produce: hand-picked every week at our local HEB, then rinsed and chopped.
• Nutrients from whole food: we don't use feed-grade synthetic vitamin packs. Calcium comes from calcium carbonate (bone).
• Never: mechanically separated meat, scraps or fillers.

Formulated and lab tested

• All five recipes are formulated by nutritionist Jenny Ryoo, CN, to meet the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for All Life Stages.
• We lab test our recipes routinely. Our latest results, from April 2026, are on our Recipes & Nutritional Info page.
• Our kitchen is licensed with, and every recipe is registered with, the Office of the Texas State Chemist, which regulates pet food in Texas.

Traceable from our kitchen to your door

• We record which production batch goes to each customer, so every box can be traced back to the day it was made.
• We hand-deliver across northeast Houston. See our delivery areas and days.

Go Raw Pet Food, LLC of Huffman, Texas is a separate company from Go Raw, LLC of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, the maker of Steve's Real Food and Quest. The 2026 recalls announced by Go Raw, LLC do not involve our food. We have never made or sold their products, and we have never had a recall. You can read the FDA notice for details.
